CANTON -- Student climate change activists at St. Lawrence University are challenging all four colleges in St. Lawrence County to a bottle drive competition through Sept. 21.
Those interested in participating should email David Smith, dlsmit11@stlawu.edu .
Groups at each school will be responsible for cashing in their returnables and getting the money to Smith.
Members of the SLU climate change forum say all proceeds go to a climate change or disaster relief charity such as cliamterelief.org.
The winning school will get to pick the charity.
