Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation employee Christopher Guimond accepts an award from Administrator Sutton for 25 years of federal service.
MASSENA -- St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation recently honored employees for their years of service during an awards ceremony.
The following employees were recognized:
• Eric Hebert, 5 years of Seaway service
• Scott Nelson, 5 years of Seaway service
• Keith Benham, 10 years of Seaway service
• Robert Haynes, 10 years of Seaway and 10 years of Federal service
• Donald Beckstead, 15 years of Federal service
• Sal Pisani, 15 years of Seaway and 15 years of Federal service
• Matthew Beamer, 20 years of Federal service
• Anita Blackman, 20 years of Seaway service
• Christopher Guimond, 25 years of Federal service
• David Lavean, 25 years of Seaway service
The Seaway opened for the 2015 navigation season April 2. The Visitors’ Center at Eisenhower Lock will open Friday, May 22.
Last year there were approximately 56,000 visitors to the lock from 17 different countries and 42 states.
