CANTON -- St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES will offer the SAT/ACT Workshop to high-school juniors who plan to take the SAT and/or ACT this spring.
Classes will be held at the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES Educational Services Center, 40 West Main St., on seven Sundays starting March 5.
Workshop classes are two-and-half hours long. The course includes practice for the new SAT as well as practice for the ACT. Students may choose to participate in an optional class to prepare for the essay.
Registration materials for the SAT/ACT Workshop are available at your school’s guidance office and online at http://satactworkshop.weebly.com/.
Students who attend the following schools must register through their guidance counselors before Feb. 10: Canton, Clifton-Fine, Edwards-Knox, Gouverneur, Hermon-DeKalb, Heuvelton, and Madrid-Waddington.
Students from other districts, including home school students, should mail the registration form and fee directly to Meg Clemens before Feb. 10. More info: 379-0941.
