POTSDAM – St. Lawrence Health’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) recently toured the new Regional Care Pavilion at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
The Council consists of patients and family members of patients who have received services at Canton-Potsdam, Massena, and/or Gouverneur hospitals, either on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
The mission of the SLH PFAC is to implement a community partnership model to develop innovative strategies to improve quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction throughout St. Lawrence Health.
PFAC members have a valuable impact on the patient experience through sharing their ideas and providing feedback on the planning, design, and execution of health system-based programs and services.
The SLH PFAC meets regularly via WebEx on the last Friday of every month between 12-1 PM. If you would like to join the Council or need more information, please contact Patient Experience at (315) 261-5314, or email maura.mayer@rochesterregional.org. There is a short application process.
