POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence Health System, in conjunction with the St. Lawrence County Suicide Awareness Coalition, will present a dinner panel and short video on suicide awareness and prevention on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 5-7 p.m., at the Best Western University Inn.
St. Lawrence Health System’s Director of Behavioral Health Jayme Smith, PhD, and Laurie Zweifel, PhD, Psychiatry; Suicide Awareness Coalition Chair Mary Jones, as well as representatives from Reachout will present information and answer questions related to suicide.
A short Ted Talk video entitled “How to Start a Conversation about Suicide” will be shown. The program is open to the general community, and there is no cost for dinner, however, RSVPs required by Sept. 8.
