The St. Lawrence County Youth Bureau is considering starting an online shop to raise money for the North Country Art Teachers Association.
Legislator Nicole Terminelli, D-Massena, reported to the county's Services Committee that the store would sell things like face masks, mugs and bags with designs that were runners up in the county's mask design contest.
The contest allowed St. Lawrence County K-12 students to submit designs for a face mask and each student in the county will receive one.
Terminelli said the bureau wants to get the runner-up designs out to the public, while raising funds for the association.
She said masks with the winning design have been given to BOCES to distribute to school districts, which will likely be after Thanksgiving break.
