HERMON -- Officials are investigating a "suspicious" fire that destroyed an abandoned trailer on Jonesville Road that occurred around 4 a.m. today.
Hermon Volunteer Fire Department with mutual aid from Richville firefighters responded to the call at 4:10 a.m. and returned to their stations at 5:51 a.m.
The St. Lawrence County Fire Investigation Team said the fire appeared suspicious and further investigation is expected.
The structure was ruled a total lost.
No owner or address was listed for the property.
