FOWLER — The St. Lawrence County Business Connections Committee and St. Lawrence-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) will host special informational programs and student-led tours at Southwest Tech in Fowler.
Several other tours at other BOCES facilities are planned in 2023.
The tour will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 8:30-11 a.m. at Southwest Tech, located south of Gouverneur on State Route 812.
Advance registration is required, and space is limited.

Breakfast will be provided.
Networking opportunities will be available so those attending are encouraged to bring their business cards.
Organizers will follow the school policy for cancellations or delays for inclement weather on the day of the event.
Southwest Career & Technical Education Center serves an average of 280 students from five component school districts: Clifton-Fine, Edwards-Knox, Gouverneur, Harrisville and Hermon-DeKalb.
The following programs are offered at Southwest Tech: Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA, One year program), Cosmetology, CREATE, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Education & Human Services, Graphic Communications, Heavy Equipment Operations, Metalworking, New Visions: Medical Careers, and Pharmacy Tech.
Attending this event will be an opportunity to see firsthand all that BOCES offers and hear about it directly from the students and staff, say organizers.
Other tours of BOCES Tech Centers will be: Seaway Tech in Norwood on Wednesday, Jan. 18 from 8:30-11 a.m.; and Northwest Tech in Ogdensburg on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 8:30-11 a.m.
