St. Lawrence County drivers saw a mix of freezing rain and snow depending on what part of the county they were in this morning.
The early morning snow showers are expected to clear into a sunny afternoon as temperatures hit the mid 40s today.
According to the National Weather Service, clouds return tonight, but warmer temperatures will bring rain rather than snow for the remainder of the week.

Today - Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 46. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph.
Tonight - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Light southeast wind.
Thursday - Occasional showers, mainly after 1pm. High near 59. South wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Thursday - Night Rain. Low around 57. South wind 13 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
