In response to “Smoking Ban” which appeared in the Oct. 24-30 issue of North Country This Week: Sure, Sound Off is where people can have their opinions and express them, but come on. Complaining about smokers getting hit the hardest? Hit with what? Not being able to pollute a public space. Even if you are just smoking in your apartment, the smoke travels and it’s a cost to the company once you move. They have to clean everything. You know the damage it does to your body and the effects of second hand smoke, yet you continue. I wonder who will pay for all your healthcare cost in the end...that's right...the same government you complain about.
