OGDENSBURG - The Ogdensburg History Museum, 206 Ford St., will host a free, special children's storytime event on May 11 at 11:30 a.m.

The theme of the storytime will be shadflies and other bugs, perfect for curious young minds who are interested in learning about the fascinating world of insects.

Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend.

The storytime will be led by retired kindergarten teacher Nancy Wilson Mashaw, who has a passion for storytelling and engaging young children in learning. With her lively and interactive storytelling style, she is sure to captivate the audience and spark their curiosity about shadflies and other bugs, said organizers.

"We are excited to welcome families to the museum for this special storytime event," said museum president, Julie Madlin. "It's a great way to introduce children to the world of shadflies and other bugs, and we are grateful to have Nancy Wilson Mashaw as our storyteller."
