St. Lawrence University's Carly Stine finished eighth in the 2012 ECAC indoor pentathlon championship at the Armory in New York City and high jumper Eliza Bell was fourth to highlight the Saint women's indoor track team's participation in the ECAC Championships.
Stine, who won the 800 meters competition as part of the pentathlon with a time of 2:23.64, compiled 2872 points in the five-event competition which included the hurdles, high jump, shot put and long jump. She placed fourth in the long jump for her other top-four finish in the event.Bell cleared 1.59 meters to tie for fourth in SLU's other individual scoring performance in the meet.The Saints tied for 37th among 57 scoring teams in the meet.
Other top 20 performances for the Saints included an 11th place finish by the Distance Medley Relay team of Megan Hulton, Stine, Ariel Beccia and Jenna Hulton with a time of 12:10.70. Jenna Hulton was 14th in the mile in 5:11.00, McKayla Nuffer was 12th in the 5000 in 18:12.73 and Kristen Linder was 12th in the shot put with a throw of 11.83 meters.Stine joined Toria Koutras, Jenna Hulton and Staci Czaja on the 4x800 relay team which finished ninth in 9:42.47.
Tori Bean was 17th in the triple jump at 10.84 meters and the Saint 4x200 relay team of Samantha Yee, Divya Biswal, Anna Pond and Hannah Kinsey was 20th in 1:48.50. Kinsey finished 22nd in the 200 and was 24th in the 60 meter dash.
