MASSENA — Polka music, as well as country and rock, filled the air as Fritz’s Polk Band played an eclectic mix of genres during Kaneb Orchards’ Octoberfest Sunday, October 11.
The Verona-based band was the first Polka band to play at a Woodstock Festival (1999). The band was inducted into the Syracuse Area Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
Attendees listened to the variety of tunes the band performed, and some got up and danced to them as well.
The cider bar, freshly baked donuts and Nibbles Snackery food truck were also enjoyed by patrons.
