POTSDAM -- SLC Arts will host a presentation by Steven Sauter at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St., Thursday, Sept. 28, from 12:15-12:45 p.m.
Sauter will discuss living with disabilities.
As a young adult with Down Syndrome, Sauter of Canton is an advocate for full community inclusion of all people with disabilities.
In addition to his part-time work with SLC Arts and his volunteer efforts with the Canton historian’s office, Sauter participates in St. Lawrence NYSARC’s art, dance, and theater programs for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Canton and at SUNY Potsdam.
He enjoys piano lessons with a private teacher.
Sauter is a 2004 graduate of Canton High School.
This event is free and open to everyone.
Attendees may wish to bring a bag lunch to eat during the presentation.
SLC Arts believes in art for everyone and accepts financial donations to support their public events.
