POTSDAM – Skaters and spectators are invited to “Skate for a Cause” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Pine Street Arena, Potsdam. Participants will skate for a cause in honor of a loved one who has struggled with cancer.
Skater registrations are still being accepted. Applications are on Facebook’s Skate for a Cause,
Raegan Barrett has planned the event as a school project in memory of her Aunt Joanne Bigwarfe. The event was also organized with the help of Potsdam Figure Skating Club, which has sanctioned the event.
*50/50, raffles and concession will be available.
