POTSDAM -- This October, Ruby Sprowls is offering classes to help artists improve their marketing tactics on and offline. Classes will be held Oct. 4, 18, and 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. at SLC Arts, Downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St.
These classes will help participants improve their online business presence. Sprowls will demonstrate how artists’ businesses can benefit from keyword research, manage on and offline marketing, and how to coordinate these aspects in order to successfully run a business. Students will set up a Google Webmaster account and learn how to use the Google Keyword tool. She will also show students how to synchronize online and offline marketing in order to save time.
