In response to “Loud Pipes,” to be perfectly clear, loud pipes saving lives is an absolute myth. Explain to me the physics involved when a noise is generated behind something, how it possibly can travel to a vehicle ahead of it? A car behind a motorcycle would be able to hear the noise but not a car at an intersection ahead of the motorcycle. The state should mandate reflective clothing for motorcycle drivers so we would be better able to see them. The primary concern of a motorcyclist should be visibility not noise.
