State Senator Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, is inviting the public to “love their library” by casting their votes for two new awards aimed at recognizing area librarians and libraries in Northern New York.
The public can cast their votes for the “Best Library of the Year” and outstanding librarians by visiting Ritchie’s website at www.ritchie.nysenate.gov. Those without access to a computer can call her Watertown office at 782-3418. The deadline is March 23.
Ritchie represents the 48th Senate District. It includes most of northern and western St. Lawrence County from Waddington to Hammond, down to Fowler, including Ogdensburg, Canton and Gouverneur. The district also extends into Jefferson and Oswego counties.
