MASSENA -- A second suspect has been charged in connection with an assault that took place earlier this month and is being held without bail, according to village police.
Kenneth W. Williams Jr., 45, of 228 Trippany Road was picked up on a warrant and charged with second-degree assault, a felony. He was charged at 9:30 p.m. Saturday on South Main Street in Norfolk, police said.
Williams is accused of being involved in an attack on Jefferson Avenue where a person was struck several times with a blunt object, causing head abrasions, police said earlier this month.
Williams was arraigned by Massena Justice Joseph Brown and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail, police said.
Also charged in connection with the incident is Arthur Lundrigan, 39, of 18 Park Avenue Apt. A. He was charged with second-degree assault on Oct. 12, police said.
