Seaway Valley Prevention Council staff recently participated in the 3rd Annual Recovery Walk hosted by the St. Lawrence County Addiction Treatment Center in Ogdensburg.
Over 100 people completed the 2.5 mile walk in observance of September’s National Recovery Month: Prevention Works, Treatment is Effective, People Recover.
Recovery Month activities raise awareness of substance use and mental disorders, celebrate individuals in long-term recovery, and acknowledge the work of treatment and recovery service providers.
