NORWOOD -- Seaway Career & Technical Education Center student Randy Hartson was chosen as the Potsdam Rotary Club Student of the Month for November. Hartson is enrolled in the Automotive Technology Program and is a student at St. Lawrence Central.

As a student in Auto Technology, Hartson is involved in all aspects of the automotive industry including electrical diagnostics, engine overhaul and drive train maintenance.

Hartson will be able to continue his education in this field or have the opportunity to immediately enter the workforce as a professional and competent employee upon completion of the program. He is the son of Nancy Beaudoin.

Mr. Ells, Automotive Instructor, said “Randy is a natural leader in the class as he would be in the workforce and does every job to the best of his abilities. He has shown on a daily basis his enthusiasm for the automotive field by striving to be the best and putting his best foot forward on every task he has been given. I have enjoyed being Randy’s instructor and watching him mature into a true professional.”
