POTSDAM — The Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., will host their 2nd Thursday Sampling on Nov. 10 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. featuring the cheese of the month brie D’amir.
The cheese is a French double crème soft ripened cheese that contains 60 - 75% butterfat resulting in a creamier cheese with a buttery flavor. This cheese is made of cow's milk and named for the Brie region in France where it originated.
Also on Thursday, sample dinner side dishes made by the Co-op’s Carriage House Bakery and Deli. Cheesy mashed potatoes, glazed local carrots, carriage house bread stuffing, and cranberry relish (made from local cranberries) will be available.
These freshly prepared side dishes can be ordered in larger quantities for holiday gatherings. Info: 265-4630.
