POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Rotary Club will host a “Wine, Beer and Hard Cider Tasting” on Friday, Feb. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mick & Irys, above Between the Buns, 6 Elm St.

The event is designed to support the St. Lawrence Wine Trail, as well as all local producers of wine, beer and hard cider.

Vendors providing samples will include River Myst Winery, Bella-Brooke Vineyard, St. Lawrence Brewing Company, Big Tupper Brewing and Kaneb Orchards with more businesses trying to be added.

The fundraiser will benefit ShelterBox USA, which provides victims of disaster with shelter.

Headlining the event will be musicians Big Papa & Margarita Mike. Together Big Papa and Margarita Mike play a great mix of danceable beach covers and classic rock hits, with a little country and pop

Tickets are $20 per person pre-sale or $25 at the door, and can be purchased from any Potsdam Rotarian or by sending your donation to the “Rotary Club of Potsdam,” PO Box 912, Potsdam, NY 13676.
