The St. Lawrence women's swimming and diving enters the final day of competition at the UNYSCSA Championship meet in 11th place after earning 66 points during Friday's events.
Gabriella Marchetti led the Saints on Friday evening with a win in the C final of the 200 fly. She improved on her preliminary time by two seconds to finish the heat in 2:15.55.
She then teamed up with Julia Carson, Julianne Deguardi and Meg Musser in the 800 free relay to earn the Saints top finish of the meet. The foursome posted a time of 8:13.88, shaving 12 seconds of their seed time to earn 10th place in the event.
Both Musser and Carson qualified for the finals in the 100 back and 100 breast, respectively. Musser finished 23rd in the back, posting a time of 1:03.24, while Carson placed second in the C final of the breast (18th overall) in 1:10.61.
Saturday's schedule of events includes the 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, 400 free relay and the 1650 freestyle.
