OGDENSBURG — Ross Video Incorporated, a Canadian company specializing in broadcast production equipment for major sporting events, is set to lease office and manufacturing space at the Ogdensburg Commerce Park under a new one-year agreement approved by the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority.
OBPA CEO Anthony Adamczyk said the company will lease approximately 6,018 square feet in Building 4 of the Commerce Park campus from Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2027. The agreement calls for a rate of $12 per square foot, totaling $72,216 for the year, including utilities.
Adamczyk described Ross Video as an established company whose technology supports live broadcasts of events such as National Hockey League games and the World Cup. Its U.S. subsidiary also manufactures specialized broadcast trucks equipped with antennas and satellite technology.
The company will begin with an office presence and light manufacturing operation involving approximately six employees, Adamczyk said. He added that the authority hopes the operation will grow over time and that the company will likely look to hire locally.
“This is a good opportunity,” Adamczyk said in discussing the potential for local hiring.
Ross Video found its way to Ogdensburg via a referral, Adamczyk said.
One of its other locations is in the Canada Research Park, and he said discussions surrounding a cross-border technology park corridor have already begun producing results.
Adamczyk said that Ross Video is exploring the development of a child care facility at one of its locations. The company expressed interest in Ogdensburg's own child care plans after learning about the project and the funding secured for it, he said.
He said the lease highlights the need for additional Class A office and commercial space at the Commerce Park..
He credited OBPA staff for refurbishing the space for incoming tenants.
Improvements include new flooring, with the space expected to be ready in the coming weeks.
