In response to “Reasonable retirement for all?” I would like to remind you of the fact that these people have the right to join a union and negotiate a contract. They are not getting rich off the taxpayers and they are only trying to secure their future. Would you rather that they get very little for retirement only to end up receiving food stamps to eat, Medicade because Medicare does not cover everything, as well as HEAP because they can’t afford to pay heating bills? All because they make very little on retirement? Either way it is going to cost the taxpayers. Perhaps people like you should move to Wisconsin under Governor Scott Walker.
