OGDENSBURG -- Frederic Remington Art Museum resumes two free after-school art programs for young people this fall.
The Remington Art Club is for kids in grades 6-8, and takes place every Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. in the classroom of the Eva Caten Remington Education Center, 323 Washington St. Students are welcome to bring art projects from home or school to work on, or to start new art projects using the studio supplies at the Education Center. Museum staff are on hand to offer project ideas and to assist with materials and technique.
The High School Open Studio is available every Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. in the classroom of the center. Area high school students can use this choice studio space to work on art projects from home or school, or to start new art projects. A wide range of high-quality art supplies are available for use.
