CANTON -- The Remington Arts Festival 5K Fun Run will be held Oct. 8 starting at the gravesite of Frederick Remington in Evergreen Cemetery, and ending at his birthplace on Court Street.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. in the University Plaza across from the cemetery on Route 11. Walkers start at 8:45 a.m., runners at 9 a.m. Registration forms are available on the Facebook event page and the morning of the race. The entry fee is $15 and includes a shirt for the first 50 registrants.
This is a fun run with no official timing, though an unofficial timing system will be utilized.
Shuttles will be available to take participants back to the University Plaza.
