To the Editor:
Gavin Regan has been in the County Clerk’s office only a short time but it has been widely reported of his many accomplishments.
The name of the game in all forms of government is to cut cost and save the taxpayers costly expenses and to make every effort to increase revenues. Gavin is working very hard to make this happen by carefully scrutinizing the number of personnel that is needed to run an efficient office. He has reduced two deputies down to one and has saved all of us many hard-earned dollars, while still getting the necessary work accomplished in the clerk’s office.
He is also working to expand the work to accommodate the care dealers from the New York City area and by doing this, revenues are increased.
Isn’t it a nice feeling that a public servant is trying his best to build up the county coffers?
For his hard work, Gavin has been endorsed by the Central Trade Council, the UAW, CSEA, the county Democratic Committee and the Working Family Party.
All that is needed now is for you, the voting public, to vote on November 8 and retain Gavin Regan as our County Clerk.
