Things could get wet in St. Lawrence County tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service.
They say there is an 80 percent chance of rain in all areas of the county, mainly after 2 a.m.
The good news is that the precipitation is forecast to stop by 9 a.m. in most areas of the county and by noon in the mountain regions.
They say that will be accompanied by temperatures in the mid-60s tonight and high 70s tomorrow.
The fair weather is expected to hold through Friday, with temperatures sticking in the low-60s throughout the county.
Saturday could get rainy again. The NWS is calling for a 60 percent chance of rain that day in Canton, Gouverneur and Ogdensburg. Massena, Potsdam and Star Lake are looking at a 50 percent chance.
The extended forecast for Potsdam:
Tonight - Showers, mainly after 3am. Low around 65. Light southeast wind becoming south 10 to 15 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Thursday - Showers, mainly before 9am. High near 70. Breezy, with a southwest wind 17 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 45. West wind 6 to 10 mph.
Friday - Sunny, with a high near 62. Northwest wind around 6 mph.
Friday night - Increasing clouds, with a low around 45. Light and variable wind.
Saturday - A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Light southeast wind. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
