Racism exists locally

In response to “20/20 Vision is Blurred” which appeared in the Oct. 5-11 issue of North Country This Week: I appreciate that author's opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I am not writing this in connection with the Hillary case but instead in connection to the point that we are not racist: this county and most people in the state definitely are racist. You see it all the time. No, you seldom see a hate attack, but it does happen. I have neighbors who are racist, and even a relative who freely tosses around the "N" word, others who mean it when they use the word "Canuk" and others with other such persuasions. Yes, I even have a couple racist sentiments against the Vietnamese people and people who lie. Having lived in California, Illinois, Tennessee, Washington state, Texas, Florida and Washington D.C., those places are much less racist and bigoted than people here in this part of the state. No offense intended, but felt I had to add my own two cents to this.
