POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Police Department is asking for the public’s help in their investigation of a property damage collision that caused “substantial damage” at the Key Bank Elm Street drivethrough Thursday, Oct. 27.
Shortly after 9 p.m. that night, the collision damaged the pneumatic tube system at the drive-through.
Police say the driver in the picture from the bank’s closed-circuit camera shows a man they believe was the driver.
He was driving a light-colored Ford pickup truck outfitted with a black diamond-plate flatbed and a large chrome toolbox. The pickup was towing a black, dual-axle Maxum trailer which was loaded with firewood.
“The suspect vehicle appears to be accompanied by a second vehicle, a light-colored, full-sized Chevrolet 4x4 pickup truck equipped with a gooseneck trailer,” the police request says.
Police would like help in identifying the suspect.
Police ask anyone with relevant information to call them at 265-2121.
