POTSDAM — A 50-year-old Brasher Falls woman was accused of driving while intoxicated charges Oct. 2 after village police said they observed her making an improper left turn and moving unsafely from her lane.
Angie L. Kowalchuk was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.18% or higher, an uninspected motor vehicle, an improper left turn on a two-way roadway and moving from a lane unsafely, officers said.
Police said a breath test at the Potsdam Police Department showed a blood alcohol content of 0.24%.
Kowalchuk was cited and released, police said
