POTSDAM — Potsdam police arrested two people early Oct. 4 after responding to a report of two disorderly people on Main Street.
Thomas B. Stewart, 41, and Trisha M. Angus, 43, both with no current address, were charged following the incident, according to police.
Stewart was charged with disorderly conduct, unnecessary noise for yelling and resisting arrest. Police said he continued acting disorderly after officers located him and resisted when they attempted to take him into custody.
Angus was charged with unnecessary noise for yelling. Police said she continued acting disorderly after officers located her.
Both were transported to the Potsdam Police Department. Stewart was processed and issued appearance tickets before being turned over to Malone police, who had a warrant for him. Angus was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Stewart is scheduled to appear in Potsdam Town Court at noon Oct. 21. Angus is scheduled to appear at noon Oct. 28.
