POTSDAM -- The McDonald’s restaurant, 171 Market St., has been completely remodeled.
“These changes are reflective of a new restaurant model that has been successfully rolled out in thousands of McDonald’s restaurants and puts more choice and control in the hands of guests by evolving how they order, what they order, how they pay and how they are served,” according to a press release from Dal Santo Marketing.
A ribbon cutting and re-dedication ceremony with local dignitaries will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. The restaurant will offer daily $1,$2, $3, $4, $5 meal deals and customers will have an opportunity to register to win a large screen TV.
For those looking to order at their own pace, Potsdam McDonald’s new digital self-order kiosks make ordering and paying for a meal easy, the release said. Kiosks allow guests to browse the menu, find new options and tailor their meal just the way they want.
Guests’ orders are delivered to tables by McDonald’s crewmembers, allowing customers to relax and enjoy a more custom dining experience.
The lobby of the restaurant has been completely redone and the décor has a vibrant, modern look and feel with comfortable seating, community tables, an interactive gaming table for kids, and plenty of outlets so guests may plug in or recharge electronic devices.
Potsdam McDonald’s owner and operator Paul Ross and his restaurant team are placing a higher emphasis on hospitality by focusing on greeting customers, assisting with technology and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.
“We’re excited to share this evolved experience at McDonald’s with our customers,” said Ross. “We appreciate and value our guests’ feedback on this new experience, and we’re looking forward to offering them a new way to dine at their local McDonald’s.”
