POTSDAM – A Potsdam man faces several charges stemming from an alleged domestic dispute on Pine Street on Tuesday.
Andrew M. France, 44, Potsdam, was charged at 1:59 p.m. on May 23 with third-degree assault, second-degree menacing with a weapon, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, and coercion, police said.
According to Potsdam police, France was arraigned at Potsdam Town Court and ordered held at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
An order of protection was issued in favor of the victim, police said.
