POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Public Library, 2 Park St., will host “Using Your Phone During an Emergency” on March 23 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The course describes how to use phones in order to prepare for and act during a disaster.
The presentation will cover the basics of cell phones and how to use all of necessary functions such as making calls, texting, and visiting appropriate websites.
When to use landlines will be explained. If possible, bring a cell phone.
