POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Public Library is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for architectural services for the first phase of the library's Reading Room renovation.
This phase addresses four key goals by adding a mezzanine with an enclosed space below.
“The goals, which were derived from a community survey, are to reduce noise transfer by creating an enclosed children's area; to increase capacity for classes and events by adding a larger classroom; to increase privacy for computer users; and to add more space for comfortable seating,” library officials said in an announcement.
Submissions are due on August 22 at 3 p.m.
