POTSDAM -- The Potsdam High School Red Cross Club presented 60 specially designed holiday cards to the Potsdam AMVETS Post 282 for their members.
Receiving the cards were Commander Floyd Field and Vice Commander Bob Griffo. The cards were presented by Club President Beth Gilbert and Club Secretary Karrigan Deon.
The holiday card was designed by Potsdam High School student Marie Amell.
Members of the club signed the cards. Included was this message:
“This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave. Thank you for all you have done! Happy Holidays from Potsdam High School Red Cross Club.”
