POTSDAM – The Art Department at Potsdam High School will be presenting "Eye of the Beholder," an exhibition of art by Potsdam High School art students at the Creative Spirit Community Art Center, Raymond Street, beginning Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m.
The exhibit features sculptures, drawings, painting, prints and a variety of photographic works by studio art, drawing and painting and photography students in grades 9-12.
There is a special exhibition space dedicated to graduating seniors who will show examples of their best artwork produced while in high school. An awards ceremony honoring the department scholars for 2011 plus special media awards will take place at the opening reception. The exhibit will run through June 16.
The gallery is open Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
