To the Editor:
The Potsdam Charity Hankfest Group would like to express its thanks to those families that came to our first Easter Party for Kids on Saturday March 28. For our first attempt at such an event, we were pleased with the results and have already thought of ways to improve the experience.
Special thanks to the American Legion Post #74 for allowing us to use their space and the Massena Boys & Girls Club for the appearance by the Easter Bunny.
We also wish to thank the numerous businesses that donated items: 3 Bears Gluten Free Bakery, Jreck Subs, The Cornerstore, Misty Hollow, Sergi’s, The University Bookstore, Hair Studio & Spa, Between the Buns, Hot Tamale, UPS Store, First Crush, Kinney Drugs, Great Northern Printing, North Country Neighbors, Price Chopper, Potsdam IGA, and Potsdam Kiwanis Club.
In order to continue this event next year, we hope to team up with another group/organization that can help us with volunteers.
