POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Food Co-op's second Thursday sampling will be held Aug. 13 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in their store at 24 Elm Street.
The Say Cheese Please! feature will green onion cheddar by Neighborly Farms of Vermont. Green Onion Cheddar cheese is one of eleven cheeses produced at the Neighborly Farms dairy farm in Randolph, Vermont.
The cheese is made with pasteurized milk, organic green onions, vegetable rennet, and is completely gluten-free.
Try using it in your favorite mac & cheese, potato soup, or scone and biscuit recipes. Stir it into an omelet or stuffing for a twice-baked potato for a unique flavor experience.
