WADDINGTON -- The Potsdam Brass Quintet will present its annual holiday concert twice this year in the North Country.
The program will take place at Waddington United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. The program will be offered in Potsdam at the Trinity Episcopal Church on Fall Island at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8.
The Potsdam Brass Quintet members are brass faculty from the Crane School of Music including John Ellis and James Madeja, trumpet; Lauren Becker, horn; Mark Hartman, trombone and Charles Guy, tuba. They will be joined by special guests, the Frackenpohl Honors Brass Quintet at both locations and by Rebecca Muir MacKellar, organist with the Trinity Episcopal Church and Crane faculty member, Lonel Woods for the Potsdam performance.
The concert is free to the public and donations to local charities is encouraged.
