Potsdam Rotary President Christina Delorenzo, left, was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary District 7040 Area Governor and Potsdam Rotarian Michael Griffin. Griffin transferred Rotary Foundation recognition points, earned through his donations, to Delorenzo to qualify her as a Paul Harris Fellow. Griffin said he wanted to recognize Delorenzo for the great job she had done as president this year, both at the club and district levels. The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. Since its founding more than 100 years ago, the Rotary Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
