The St. Lawrence University Nordic ski teams competed this weekend at the 2015 Dartmouth Carnival at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Erin Perryman had the highlight finish of the weekend in Friday's Women's Classic Sprint race, as she recorded the Saints women's team's first top-10 finish since the 2012 season.

Perryman earned 37.0 points after landing in sixth place in the classic sprints by finishes third overall in her quarterfinal heat. The top-10 is the first for a St. Lawrence Nordic woman since Caroline Carpenter was fifth overall in the 5K Free at the 2015 Middlebury Carnival. Kate Mulcahy and India Harvey capped the team's scoring in the event, putting them in seventh as a team. Dana Hatton (52nd), Taren McGray (53rd) and Elizabeth Landry (56th) also competed for the Scarlet and Brown. The event was won by Middlebury's Heather Mooney, who propelled the Panthers to the team title as well.

Perryman followed up her top-10 with a 26th place finish to lead St. Lawrence in the 10K Free on Saturday. Mulcahy had one of her top collegiate showings in 28th place, while Hatton also contributed points 50th place as the team was 10th in the standings. Harvey (58th), McGray (60th) and Landry (61st) rounded out St. Lawrence line-up in the women's 10K Free, which was won by the University of New Hampshire thanks to individual champion Annika Taylor's effort.

On the men's side, Kyle Curry earned the team's top place of the weekend with a career-best 13th place overall showing in Saturday's men's 10K Free. It is Curry's third top-20 of the season, and netted the Saints 26.0 points. Austin Meng and Will Frielinghaus were 28th and 30th, respectively, capping the team's total at 61.0 points, good for fifth place overall. Blaine Ayotte (37th), Philip Marshall (47th) and Isaac Wright (53rd) also raced for St. Lawrence. The men's 10K Free was won in impressive fashion by UVM, as the Catamounts took the top-3 spots including individual winner Rogan Brown.

UVM also won Friday's Classic Sprints behind individual champion Jorgen Grav, while St. Lawrence finished in fifth with 62.0 points, one ahead of Bates College. Ayotte was the Saints top finisher in 18th place, his second career top-20, while Curry and Marshall were 27th and 29th respectively. Wright picked up a 31st place showing, the best of his young collegiate career, while Frielinghaus rounded out the line-up in 36th position.

The Saints head into the stretch run of the EISA circuit, as they compete at the Middlebury Carnival next weekend before hosting the 2015 NCAA Regional Championships in Lake Placid on February 27 and 28.
