Paulette B. Boyer, 74, Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG -- A memorial service for Paulette B. Boyer, age 74, of Ogdensburg, will be held on Wednesday (April 24, 2024) at 2:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating.

Calling hours will be held also on Wednesday prior to the service from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be at White Church Cemetery in Lisbon.

Paulette passed away on April 20, 2024, at Massena Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born on October 5, 1949, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Carl Sr. and Isabelle (White) Spearance.

Paulette was a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy and later pursued her passion for accounting, earning a degree from Jefferson Community College.

Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to various roles, including positions at Grants Department Store, Augsbury Corporation, and later as a mental health therapy aid at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center and Sunmount.

In her leisure time, Paulette found joy in crafting, exploring garage sales, indulging in scary movies, and crocheting.

Above all, she treasured moments spent with her family, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.

She is survived by her loving children: Timothy (Lisa) Spearance of Ogdensburg, Tammy (Thomas) Lumbard of Canton; her dear brother, Glenn Spearance of California; cherished grandchildren: April (David) Fullerton, Melinda (Kevin) Davis, Brandon (Ashley) Lottie, Tabitha Spearance, Andrew (Jade) Spearance, Timothy (Steven) Wood, Conner Spearance,; step-grandchildren: Katelyn (Corey) LaBarge, Thomas Lumbard Jr., and Jarred Gemmill; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

he was predeceased by her four brothers: Carl Jr., Leon, Gordon, and Roy Spearance.
