OGDENSBURG -- The transition team for the Ogdensburg Diocese, composed of representatives from the Ogdensburg, Heuvelton and Lisbon parishes, has been meeting "to prepare a pastoral plan for the continued growth and vitality of local Catholic parishioners," according to church officials.
All parishioners are invited to attend.
The team’s final report to Bishop LaValley is due by Nov. 15, and the team is seeking parishioner input at an upcoming series of town hall meetings, scheduled for:
Sunday, May 21, 6:30 p.m. at Brzana Hall in the Lower Cathedral, Ogdensburg; Monday, May 22, 6:30 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Parish Center, Heuvelton; Wednesday, May 31, 6:30 p.m., Ss. Philip & James Church, Lisbon; and Thursday, June 8, 6:30 p.m., Notre Dame Church Chapel, Ogdensburg.
