Over 100 North Country residents awarded scholarships, grants awards at SUNY Potsdam

POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam has awarded scholarships, grants and awards to 1,047 students for the 2013-14 academic year. The SUNY Potsdam undergraduate and graduate students were recognized for their achievements with support for their educational experience. Local scholarship recipients included:

Crystal Adams, Harrisville, whose major is biology 7-12. Adams was awarded the SUNY Potsdam Graduate Scholarship.

Juliana Alfano, Massena, whose major is music performance. Alfano was awarded the Bernadine Howe Scholarship Fund.

Kayla Anderson, Ogdensburg, whose major is business administration. Anderson was awarded the Foundation Honors Scholarship and the SUNY Potsdam Freshman Scholarship.

Ryan Arno, Potsdam, whose major is community health. Arno was awarded the PACES/IDA Scholarship and the Watkins Fund Scholarship.

Brooke Arquitt, Hammond, whose major is liberal arts. Arquitt was awarded the SUNY Potsdam Freshman Scholarship.
