On behalf of the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Supervisor Association, I am proud to announce our endorsement for Detective Rick Engle for St. Lawrence County Sheriff.

After careful consideration and review of the candidates, we have determined that Rick Engle is the best choice to lead our department and serve our community. He has a proven track record of excellence in law enforcement and a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing St. Lawrence County.

Rick has served our community for 22 years as a law enforcement officer, and his dedication to protecting and serving the people of St. Lawrence County is evident in everything he does.

Additionally, he served 4 years in the United States Marines, where he gained valuable experience in leadership, discipline, and commitment to serving his country. Rick's leadership skills and commitment to excellence are exemplified by his role as a Senior Firearms Instructor and Reality Based Training/Active Shooter Instructor at the St. Lawrence County Police Academy. He has a proven track record of working effectively with colleagues within the Sheriffs Office and other agencies throughout the County.

One of the most important qualities that sets Rick apart is his unwavering commitment to upholding the Constitution of the United States and the rights of all citizens. As Sheriff, Rick will work tirelessly to ensure that the rights and freedoms of all St. Lawrence County residents are protected and respected.
