To the Editor:
On behalf of the family of Stephen "Butch" LaFay, I would like to express sincerest gratitude to the following: Thanks to the staff on second and third floor and the staff in the ICU at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Thanks to the staff in McClure 4/ICU at the University of Vermont Medical Center -- you both not only cared for Butch but for us, also.
Thanks to Bucks and the Plonkas for their guidance and compassion.
Thanks to the ladies and gents from the American Legion in Norfolk for the fabulous food and all the hard work.
Thanks to all who sent a card, made a phone call, gave a hug or lent a shoulder. We are so appreciative of the love and support shown.
Butch was alot like his Mom. Everyone loved him and his humor. He was a good guy and we will miss him terribly.
